Please read our terms and conditions before booking. Once booked the terms below will be part of the agreement you accept. Other terms may apply when forwarding inquiries to other providers.

1. In general

Toppturing AS will engage and excite by tailoring unique and unforgettable hiking experiences to everyone who wants to experience the mountains up close and personal.

This is done through a network of guides, experienced mountain people and local service providers together, and with a continuous focus on sustainability and the smallest possible footprint.


Orders are made through www.toppturing.no, email kontakt@toppturing.no or our telephone number as stated under Contact information. Reservations are binding and you will receive a booking confirmation by email.


If you have booked several activities, the total is due 14 days after you have made a reservation. Once you have received an order confirmation via email, your order is confirmed. Settlement with Vipps, electronic invoices or bank payment. Upon final confirmation, you also accept our terms and conditions automatically.

4. Cancellation

  1. Cancellations are sent to kontakt@toppturing.no, this is the only valid method for cancellations.
  2. Cancellations are valid from the date received. Cancellation 15 days before departure: 80% refund of the total cost.
  3. Cancellation 14-8 days before departure: 50% refund of the total cost.
  4. Cancellation 7-0 days before departure: no refund.
  5. Upon return of covid-19, or equivalent pandemics, directly related cancellations can be canceled 8 days before departure in full. We recommend all our guests to check that their own insurance covers cancellations due to pandemic.

5. Changes in itinerary

If you wish or need changes to an already confirmed booking, there will be an additional service fee of NOK 500 per participant.

6. Changes before departure

Toppturing AS reserves the right to make necessary changes to the agreed plan in the event of unforeseen events (pandemic, natural disasters, extreme weather, etc.). Of course, we will always strive to facilitate an alternative solution that will be perceived as appropriate and flexible for the Orderer. Mutual flexibility, frequent follow-up and communication will be crucial for both parties. We will never implement an agreed arrangement in case of danger to the guests' lives and health. Safety is our most important agenda.

7. Participants under 18 years of age

Participants younger than 18 years, unaccompanied by immediate family, require a written permission from a guardian before participating in our activities. Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Minimum number of participation in trips and events

Toppturing AS reserves the right to cancel trips or events if registration is too low. Prepaid guests will be offered to move or postpone their booking to a similar event, or receive a full refund. Alternative solutions will be discussed with the orderer well in advance of the start date.

9. The participant's responsibility for the trip

Toppturing AS requests our guests to be good and kind, then you can do almost anything you want. If you as a guest becomce excessive intoxication, behaves threatening or unnecessarily unpleasant to the guide or others in the group, you risk being asked to leave by the guide or by Toppturing AS.

Expenses and costs in connection with terminated hike due to the guest's own misbehavior will be on the guest(s) expense.

Toppturing AS does not take responsibility for episodes related to the guest(s) own health problems and medical consumption that has not been disclosed in advance.

Travel and accident insurance is the guest's responsibility to ensure coverage of booked activity, and valid documentation must be brought on the trip. We accept the presentation of electronic documentation. Participation is at his/her own risk, and Toppturing AS is not responsible for unforeseen accidents or illness.

10. Our responsibility

We will do our utmost to deliver an experience true to the agreed plan. Weather conditions will mostly be the most frequent reason for a change in the agreed plan, and we encourage guests to pay close attention to weather forecasts for the area and the agreed period.

In the event of unforeseen events, we will go to great lengths to promote an alternative solution from a possible necessary deviation in the original plan.

Toppturing AS disclaims any responsibility for his/her own loss of items and clothing along the way, and unforeseen events that are beyond our control. If Toppturing AS cancels the program less than 30 days before departure, you as a guest will receive a full refund.

12. Disputes

Any deviations must be reported asap to either the guide or Toppturing AS directly. Complaints after the end of the program have a one-week deadline from the last day of the trip and must be sent to kontakt@toppturing.no. In addition to this, Toppturing AS complies with Norwegian laws.
